Super Mario Bros. Main Theme has been incredibly popular ever since its release in 1985. It is probably the most popular piece amongst my students, however, since I have harmonised the melody, it is incredibly difficult to play up to speed. 
It is quite an interesting piece to study as I have witten it in cut time (2/2), so the student must learn to adjust their concept of half notes and quarter notes (minims and crotchets).
