Melbourne Drumming also offer percussion lessons in addition or instead of drum kit lessons. Modern drummers need a wide range of skills to enhance their employability. Learning percussion on premium grade instruments is fun and engaging. The range of percussive tones and colours is infinite and requires considerable practice to achieve mastery. A great way to challenge one's thinking about drumming. Both tuned and untuned percussion are taught at Melbourne Drumming. Due to space and cost however, tuned percussion is taught on a small refurbished vibraphone. Students can learn on a brand new full size Concert Vibraphone or Xylophone if they prefer. This may incur a small hire fee though.
